Paying for College

Well, it's clear! Everyone in the program wants to go to college. Some students know exactly what they want to study and others are still trying to figure it out. But there is one thing that you all have in common. That is figuring out how you are going to pay for it (you and your parents of course). Let's take a few minutes to think about it. Please answer the following questions.
1. What are some ways in which students and parents pay for a college education?
2. Do you think you are able to handle attending college full time and working part time?
3. Do you think you will receive a full scholarship? Academic or otherwise?

And finally,
4. What is your greatest fear regarding the financial responsiblity to attend college?

  1. Some students pay for college with scholarships. Also with loans and grants. Most college students depend on financial aid to pay for their college education.
I don't think i could handle college and a part time job as a college freshman. Maybe in my second semester, after i get used to college life, would i consider getting a part time.
I honestly don't think i could get a full scholarship. I'm a good student, but i'm average compared to other students.
I fear that i won't be able to attend a good college or a college out of state because i can't afford it. i also fear not getting enough financial aid or any scholarships to help me pay for my education.

    2. For me being able to balance me time is very important it'll be something I have to balance on my own and make sure that i'm able to go to school and work without having to worry about not getting my work done.

4.My greatest fear about attending college is just being able to be on my own without my parents by my side like in higschool. Also, being able to adapt to my new surroundings and staying focus by proving to my parents that i'm serious about my college education.

    2. I personally don't believe that I can handle that. I am going to be already stressed with the work load since I will be a college student full time.
    3. I hope and pray that I get a full scholarship somewhere; even if it's not one of my top colleges. I am going to continue to work hard, if not harder, so I won't have to pay a dime for college.
    4. My biggest fear is that I will not be able to attend college due to our financial status. If I do get the opportunity to go to college, my fear would be the amount of debt I would have to pay back.
